With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our loving and devoted Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma on September 21, 2020 at Whitemouth Personal Care Home.
Mom was born on March 21, 1924, the youngest of nine children to Alexander and Tillie Demetrioff. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Nick, Mike, JB, George and Sonny and her sisters, Minnie, Lee and Clara.
Memories of Mom will forever be cherished in the hearts of son Billy (Debbie); daughters, Marlene (Terry) and Sharon (Roger); grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Jodi, Karen, Kristy and Tracy; and great- grandchildren, Jaidyn, Alexandra, William, Signy, Cameron, Ashdyn, Emily, Adasyn and Hailey.
We take some comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her hubby Bill, who passed away in 1990 and her grandson Kyle, who passed away in 2003. Give them a hug and kiss for us, Mom.
Mom lived her life for her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren who meant the world to her.
The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Whitemouth Personal Care Home. You treated Mom with kindness, respect and love for which we will always be grateful.
A very special thank you to her nephew, Gerry Demetrioff. Your calls and cards meant the world to Mom. She lit up every time she heard your voice. She called you her "rock." Thank you Gerry for all you've done.
At Mom's request, there will be no formal service. A private interment will be held.
Also, at Mom's request, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Boniface Research Foundation.

  • Billy, Marlene & Sharon So sorry for your loss. I still remember when Aunty Ann first lived with us on Mason Street. Also her dills with the carrot in the jar. Memories are forever. With love, Niece Judy - Posted by: Judy McDonald (Niece ) on: Sep 27, 2020

  • Sharon and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Mrs. Hallam well from my young adult years. I remember her smile and she always welcomed her children's friends into her home on Dollard. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Jane Hill (Friend) on: Sep 26, 2020
