JEFFERY DANIEL WOOD
January 3, 1961 - September 24, 2020

Sadly, at the age of 59, Jeff passed away suddenly.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tammy, his daughters, Tawni (Josh), Jade (Anel) and Shai (Dave). He is also survived by his sisters, Terry and Jill. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Elery and Shirley.
Jeff was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on the coldest day ever as his mom Shirley always said. He then moved to Winnipeg and then to Headingley which Jeff and Tammy decided to call home and raise their own family.
Jeff and his dad Elery founded Cambrian Blasting in 1976. They did work in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. They built a great reputation for over 40 years in the blasting industry. Jeff always considered it a family business and was so proud that all his girls were part of it - whether it was drilling, operating heavy equipment, blasting, or even helping to do estimates driving down the road to the next job.
Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family time with his girls. He also really enjoyed travelling with the family to tropical destinations. Although not a tropical destination, Jeff's favourite place to be was at the family property in the Interlake, which they always referred to it as 'Nor Fork'. Every year he looked forward to going there for the start of goose hunting season and celebrating 'Guns and Dogs' with his family and good friend Gordie.
