KEITH PETER TATARYN
Born in Snow Lake, Manitoba, on September 11, 1950, he grew up playing hockey during the winter, while the summers brought camping and fishing hand-in-hand. Moving to Winnipeg after high school, and graduating from University of Manitoba, he soon switched gears into married life, a family, and receiving "Mr. T" as his new moniker, which followed him from Miniota into Birtle.
Many regarded his later years as nothing short of an adventure, having caught the travel bug, while accepting a teaching position overseas in China, frequenting many countries on his holidays, and taking in a Springsteen concert with his son Chris, in Perth, Australia.
He is fondly remembered as a brother, father, friend, teacher and as "Grumpa" by Acadia and Deon.
On behalf of the Tataryn, Hall, Huberdeau, Brown, and Kurtz family and friends, there will be a Celebration of Life planned for next summer.
