ERNEST LEONARD SCHREYER

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ernie Schreyer, who passed away at Selkirk Hospital on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at the age of 69.
He will be deeply missed by Valerie, his loving wife of 45 years, his son Trenton and partner Angela: grandchildren, Stanley and Olivia and their mother Irene.
Ernie will always be remembered for his wonderful big smile and contagious laughter, his selfless heart and unending love as felt through his desire to help others, and for the strength and passion he brought to everything that he accomplished.
Ernie enjoyed the special time he shared with family and friends, and could always be counted on to bring joy to people's hearts.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family will have a small private service.

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • My sincere condolences to Valerie and Trent and families. I worked with Ernie in training for my last 10 years at MTS. Ernie was always kind, easy going, teasing everyone..but his smile was definitely the best. In trying times we could count on Ernie to lighten the load with his calm demeanor. He made friends very easily and enjoyed all people equally. Val you will miss your dear Ernie..but I hope you know he loved you and Trent so very much..so keep him close to your heart.
