JACOB P. BROESKY

Jacob P. Broesky, born on Sept. 25, 1936 (Rosengard, MB), passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB, at the age of 81, with his daughter Eleanor by his side.

Jacob leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters and their families, Eleanor (Donavan, Sabrina, Kolton, Corbin); Sheila (Rick); two sons and their families, Ken (Ryan); Melvin (Linda, Kristen); grandsons Marcel (Justice); Nathan (Iresha, Gage); Terrence (Lyndon, Ashia, Nevan, TJ); granddaughter Alishia (Trinity); daughter-in-law Barbara (Kelvin); four brothers, John, Marten, Cornie, Peter; two sisters, Katherine, Nettie and their families; one sister-in-law, Anna Friesen, and family; wife Tina (Friesen) and her family (Marylin, Irwin (Audrey); as well as many friends.

Jacob was predeceased by his first wife Linda (2013); one son, Gilbert (1980); three sisters; one sister-in-law; four brothers-in-law; his parents and in-laws.

The viewing took place on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.

The funeral service was held on Monday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. at St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steinbach, MB.

Thank you to all the wonderful nurses for the exceptional care given to our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and husband. His kids would like to thank all of their friends who stood by them. Our hearts will forever be grateful to you all.
