EVA SCHWARTZ
(nee ZOPF)
Born in Rockglen, Saskatchewan on December 17, 1917, she moved to Winnipeg, where she married the love of her life, George Schwartz in May, 1943. They were together for nearly 50 years and she was a devoted mother and wife and consummate homemaker until his death in 1992. Fiercely independent after George's death, she continued to live a full life, travelling around the world and visiting her family across Canada. A highlight of her later years was the celebration of her 100th birthday in December, 2017, which was celebrated in Winnipeg by her immediate family.
She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Joudrie and Pamela Ouzounian, stepson George Schwartz and their families.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no service.
