Toots was my first “away from home mom” in 1965 when I had my first job and needed a home. I was a room and board tenant at the Lehn house in Winnipeg. I will always remember how Toots supported and encouraged me. I was 18. Peggy and Audrey were a delight to be around. Ernie always had a funny joke for me. The Lehn house was a wonderful way to start my adult life. It was led and managed by Toots. Remember the snowfall in the winter of 1965-1966? Rest-in-peace Toots. - Posted by: Bob Herr (Room and board tenant - 661 Clifton Street (1965)) on: Aug 31, 2021

Our condolences to Lyle, Peggy, Audrey and families. Gertrude and Lyle were such great friends and neighbours of Doreen and Ken at Fairhaven. They had many laughs together. We will always remember Gertrude’s beautiful smile and warm, caring ways. Sincerely, Doreen, Karen & Kevin - Posted by: Karen Bailey (Friend) on: Oct 14, 2020
