RAYMOND WILSON CUMMING

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Wilson Cumming on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
Ray was born in Winnipeg on March 15, 1930. He was predeceased by his father Alexander Cumming and his mother Helena Cumming; his brother Robert Cumming; brother Ronald Cumming and niece Leena Cumming.
Ray was very active coaching hockey, gardening, charting daily weather and forecasting weather. He also built a model railroad. Ray sang in the choir at Young United Church where he met Joyce Holtzman. They were married July 18, 1964.
Ray was employed by Canada Post, working with compensation and benefits. During retirement, we travelled to San Diego, Palm Springs and British Columbia.
Ray is survived by Joyce; his sister-in-law Violet Cumming; brother-in-law Edwin Holtzman and several nieces and nephews, who said they remember how uncle Ray made them feel special and helped them learn new things.
Ray's wife of 56 years, Joyce Gladys, will cherish his memory and in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
We wish to extend a special thanks to Oakview Place for the care that Raymond received.
A funeral was held at Chapel Lawn on October 26, 2020.
