GEORGE ANDREWS PARKINSON
He was predeceased by his father, Clement; his mother, Sadie; his only sister, Sybil; and his wife, Eloise (Peggy).
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Maher (husband Doug); his son, David Parkinson; his grandchildren, Scott and Adam Maher, Sadie, Matthew and Hannah Parkinson; and his great-grandchildren, Cayden and Cole Maher.
Dad was a Second World War vet, serving with the RCAF. He was a member of the Transcona Legion for many years.
He worked for Manitoba Health, serving for many years as an accountant.
After he retired at 55, him and Mom did a lot of travelling. They toured Europe, went on cruises to the Caribbean and Panama, and loved their little bus trips to casinos.
Cremation and a private family service will take place.

Sue and I wish to extend our sympathy to David, Heather and all the family on the passing of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. It is with the fondest memories I remember growing up next door to Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson.
