Dad was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, active in the Brandon and Selkirk Kinsmen Clubs, a third degree Scottish Rite Master Mason and member of the Shriner's Antique Car Club. When he was younger, he enjoyed downhill skiing, cycling, and taking the train to Grand Beach on weekends. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed field trialing and hunting with his Black Labs.
In retirement, for over 20 years, he joined the snowbird community and divided his time between Arnes, Manitoba and Phoenix, Arizona. He was a member of the Winnipeg Remote Control Flying Club and built many RC models which he loved to fly at their airstrip north of Winnipeg.
Dad was well respected by his countless friends and many colleagues; he will be dearly missed.
