It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Ethel Lewsey, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who passed away November, 2, 2020, at Maples Long Term Care Home in Winnipeg, MB.
Ethel Lewsey was born in North Battleford, SK, November 5, 1920. She grew up in Regina, SK, being the oldest of nine children of George and Arrenna Smith.
She will be sadly missed!
Leaving to mourn: daughter Elaine Bray (Jim), son Lorrie Lewsey (Cindy), grandchildren, Summer Lewsey, Tamara Lewsey (Rick), Kristen Clanagan (Jimmy), Byron Reed and Cassandra Lewsey (Pragash, great-grandchildren, Seth Lewsey, Savannah Lewsey, Matteo Martins, Makenna Martins, Avianah Clanagan, Ariella Clanagan, Nixon-James Clanagan, sisters, Pearl Hayes and Pauline Foggo, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased: husband of 44 years, Lawrence Agustus Lewsey, mother Arrenna Smith and father George Willis Smith, siblings, Edith Risby, Willis Smith, Sidney Smith, Olie Smith, Bert Smith and Dave Smith.
An announcement will be made regarding a Celebration of Life when its safe to assemble.
