Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I worked with Jim at Winnipeg Transit. He was great to work with, and a wealth of knowledge. He would go out of his way to help you out. He had a great sense of humour and for many of us in the Maintenance Department, made the midnight shift fun. - Posted by: Robert (Bob) Cooper (Co Worker at Winnipeg Transit) on: Dec 12, 2020

  • He was a great guy. Remember many times on spareboard working for him. Never had any issues between him and I. Great supervisor. Great sense of humour - Posted by: Keith Scott (Co-worker) on: Nov 20, 2020

  • Therese and I are so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing! We got to know Jim through Bev’s sister Barb and Her husband Brian. Jim was a fun guy who could liven up any room with his big smile! We have great memories of the times that we spent with him. A free spirit who lived life to the fullest! Our deepest condolences to Bev and family. • I offer my heartfelt condolences to Bev and Jim's family as well as his close friends. I worked with Jim at Winnipeg Transit. At that time I was a newly hired bus operator. I had lots to learn and Jim would often point it out, but not in a mean spirited way. Far from it he would laugh with you and help correct a person's missteps. Of course he would also make sure to let everyone else in on the joke. It made for a relaxed workplace and he really took the time to get to know the men and women he worked with. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Chris Orr (Worked with Jim at Winnipeg Transit) on: Nov 13, 2020

  • We loved Jim’s sense of humour, we will miss him. - Posted by: Roxanne and Chuck Allingham (Friends) on: Nov 13, 2020
