LORNA FREDERICKSON

Sadly, we announce the passing of Lorna Evelyn Grace Frederickson (nee Johnson), at the age of 102, on November 9, 2020.
Born in Winnipeg in 1918, to immigrants from Sweden, she lived a long and healthy life.
Lorna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Harold Frederickson, in 1952. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Everett Johnson, Glen Johnson and Ethyl (Johnson) Stewart.
She leaves behind her four children, Robert Curtis Arthur (Anita), Janice, Nancy and Shirley, whom she dutifully and lovingly raised on her own after her husband Robert's untimely death.
Also grieving her loss are her eight grandchildren, Warren Dunn, Trevor Dunn, Robert Murray Frederickson, Karen Frederickson Comer (Robert Skipworth), Calvin Dunn (Linda), Vicki Frederickson Croddy (Michael), Leah Jefferson and Kristin Frederickson; and her five great-grandchildren, Jessica Dunn, Cooper Dunn, Jason Croddy, Matthew Croddy and Rachel Comer.
She was a strong, kind and selfless woman who devoted her life to her family. And although she was a sweet and gentle little lady, she was also up for some fun which earned her the nickname "Granny Dynamite" by her grandchildren.
Lorna passed away peacefully at Misericordia Place with her daughter, Shirley, at her side. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to all the caring staff at Misericordia Place.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family internment is planned for a later date.
