Francesco Giovanni Battista Vergata was born August 29, 1937 in Settingiano CZ, Italy. Immigrated to Canada on February 15, 1962. He married Marlene Joyce Young on January 29, 1966.
Franseco was survived by his loving wife Marlene; daughter Teresa, born July 5, 1971; son DiMartin "Marty", born June 13, 1973; daughter-in-law Jessica married to Marty, October 4, 2014; grandchildren, Anthony Scott, born May 23, 1997, Caleb, born November 9, 2016 and Thomas, born August 1, 2018; sisters-in-law, Cathy Rotella and Elenora Vegata; sister Maria (Tony) Dotoli, Assunta (Nello) Longbadi; and brother Ralph (Susie) Vergata; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
