Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Dear cousins, I wish to send you my deepest condolences on the loss of a wonderful, caring and loving person that your mother, grandmother & great grandmother was. I cherished everything she gave me when I was a little girl on behalf of my Godfather, Uncle Andy. It was always a surprise and chosen with a woman’s touch. And I will never forget when she saved this ‘city girl’ from a HUGE hairy spider during my stay at their country residence (1950 flood). Now she has finally been reunited with all the family and friends she’s been missing. She is resting in peace and will continue sending her love and energy to the great family she has raised. With affection, Charlotte - Posted by: Charlotte Kuban (Niece) on: Dec 05, 2020

  • Auntie Ann will be remember by me for many years to come. I always remember her how she was always dressed so nice and her make-up was just perfect all the time and more than anything, she never had a bad word to say about anyone. What a wonderful personality she had. - Posted by: Les Starink (nephew) on: Dec 04, 2020

  • My cousins did such an amazing job writing my Memere’s obituary. It seems surreal that she has passed. As a little kid you just think the adults in our life will be here forever. It’s a bitter pill to swallow that they are human, and some day will leave us. It would be selfish to wish she was still with us, as much as it breaks my heart. But I have total comfort that she on the other side with Pepere after 45 years apart. I thanked her as I held her hand in her last days for raising my dad to be such a good man. Without her love and dedication as a mother raising my father to be an incredible man, I wouldn’t be who I am today. She was as my cousin said to me, the matriarch of our family. I know I am blessed to have grandparents in my life till my mid 30s. I’m also blessed that Wesley has fond memories of visits with Memere playing cards and sharing meals while she was still able too be completely present. Memere has her wings now. I hope she’s proud of us. - Posted by: Monique Dupuis (Granddaughter ) on: Nov 30, 2020
