I knew Sherry as a passionate member of the St. James Citizens For Crime Awareness/Neighbourhood Watch many years ago. We could always count on Sherry to attend meetings and volunteer her time for community safety. On behalf of the CFCA/NHW, I offer condolences and blessings to Sherry's family and friends. Take care. - Posted by: Wanda Prychitko (Neighbour) on: Dec 13, 2020

Myself and all "older" Manitoba table tennis players are saddened to hear of the loss of Sherry. Back in the late 1980's and early 1990's, sports had to run fundraising bingos out of the old smoke-filled bingo halls long before Club Regent or McPhillips Street Station. Being "athletes", many players hated helping at these halls but they were necessary. Sherry was good friends with Sara Bilous, the mother of one of our players Laura, and Sherry loved to volunteer and socialize at these events. Afterwards we would often go for pizza and beers and here she would give "s---" to whoever wasn't pulling their weight at the bingo. Sherry always "said what she meant" and "meant what she said." I and others miss those days when we were lead by Sherry. Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Ronald S Edwards (Amateur Sport Bingos) on: Dec 01, 2020

I was sad to hear of sherry passing. She was full of life and traveled more than anyone I know. She would come for Christmas eve dinner and have many interesting stories to tell. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Sara bilous (family friend) on: Nov 28, 2020

I rembemer Sherry from years ago. She and Jerry were good friends with my parents Norman and Joann Smith. One of the nicest ladies I'd ever met. So very sorry to hear of her passing. - Posted by: Kim crosby (family friend) on: Nov 28, 2020
