GAIL ANNE ZAIKOW
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anne Zaikow and her brother-in-law Ken Krotch.
She is survived by her sister Glenys Krotch and will be remembered fondly by many cousins and dear friends. We would also like to thank Gail's neighbours for their care and support for her, and their help in finding Merlin a new home.
Gail was born August 25, 1952 and grew up in North Kildonan. Her business career included positions at Hershey Canada and several freight companies. She adored her beloved bearded collies and enjoyed participating in dog shows through the years. She leaves Merlin, her faithful companion, behind. Gail was an avid tennis player in her younger years and loved watching tournaments on TV.
Cremation has taken place and she will join her parents at All Saints Cemetery.
A service to celebrate Gail's life will take place at a later date.

I first met Gail through her sister Glenys two years ago after the death of Glenys husband Ken. Gail was a great source of information to me in helping Glenys adjust to her new life. She cared deeply for her sister trying to get the medical care and supports Glenys needed. Gail was kind and treated Glenys to a birthday lunch out with myself and another neighbour next door. It was a fun outing and nice to hear the sisters talk about their childhoods.
