I felt so bad when I saw Eileen’s Passing in the RTAM magazine. She was one of the most beautiful ladies ever. My husband taught in the division and heard her name mentioned so often by other teachers who said she was the most wonderful pre-school teacher. When our daughter turned 4 years (1976) we couldn’t wait to get to her house on Knox street. She treated the children like gold and the children loved her. The best was the fire drill when they all had to climb out of the basement window. Wonderful memories. Paige Phillips - Posted by: Paige Phillips (Friend) on: Mar 11, 2021

Dear Corinne, On many occasions, I do recall you talking lovingly about your Mom - be it many trips you took to Winnipeg to be with her, happy family gatherings at your own home or trips to Naples/Florida, to help her break a long Canadian winter. I hope that such pleasant memories, of happier times spent together, will help to fill the void that you feel now, and somewhat ease the pain during this difficult time.
