LINDA MARX
(nee ZACHARIAS)
June 19, 1936 - November 30, 2020
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Herb; her two sons, Alan and Gary, and brother Helmut (Lynn). Oma will be truly missed by her four grandchildren, Andrew, Curtis, Travis and Courtaney, as well as her six great-grandchildren, Niko, Nate, Nina, Nela, Nova and Nero. Linda will also be fondly remembered by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many close family friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Alvina; and siblings, Adolf, Julius, and Herta.
Linda was born in Poland on June 19, 1936 and came to Morris, Manitoba in 1953 where she met and married Herb on June 14, 1958.
Mom loved being at home for her family, she was always looking after everyone's needs. Mom was a great teacher, and she shared her talents of gardening, cooking, baking, preserving, sewing, and knitting with her sons and grandchildren. She had a wonderful way of sharing life skills with her family, all while spending quality time with everyone and creating memorable moments.
You could rest assured that every visit from her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren would end with a hug and a kiss, followed by an "ICH LIEBE DICH".
We will always remember Linda as a
kind and gentle wife, mother, and Oma.
ICH LIEBE DICH!
The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Fred Douglas Lodge on the Spruce Ward.
In honour of her memory, donations can be made to the Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2X 0B8.

I was blessed to have known Linda for over 35 years. She was a remarkable woman. She and I spent many hours together with me sampling all of her delicious baking over a cup of coffee. Linda taught me how to knit and never lost patience with me as I struggled to learn. She would sit by my side and tell me with a smile "try again". As Linda tired in the nursing home, we would still enjoy our Sunday morning visits which always ended with a kiss and "I love you". God gave us Linda but for a brief time. I shall never forget her. Rest in peace dear friend. - Posted by: Joanne LaVallee (Friend) on: Dec 05, 2020
