ANNE GUSTAITIS
(nee JESIONKOWSKI)
1932 - 2020

With deep sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of Anne, our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Anne was born March 31, 1932 in Winnipeg. She was raised in the North End of Winnipeg. Anne worked as a stenographer as a young woman. Together with her husband Al, they settled in West Kildonan where they spent their lives and raised their children. Anne lived her life as she chose, a very loving and strong-minded woman.
Anne was predeceased by her sister Mary in 1952, her granddaughter Kelly in 1974, her father Boleslaw in 1982, her mother Tatianna in 1998 and her beloved husband, Algird (Al) in 2000. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughters, Patricia (David) Nerman of Vancouver, daughter Sharon (Ken) Obirek and daughter Darcy (Jim) Spikula both of Winnipeg. She will be missed with great sorrow by her grandchildren, Donald Benson (Melanie) and Tatianna Benson all of Vancouver, Kimberly (Jason) Cassils, Amy Obirek Blatz (David), Catherine (Kevin) Sands and Colin (Maribel) Spikula. She leaves her 10 beautiful great-grandchildren, Rianna, Mia and Emma Cassils, Campbell, Bodhi and Ellison Blatz, Olivia and Owen Sands and Jaiden and Logan Spikula.
Thank you to the Middlechurch Personal Care Home for the wonderful care provided for Anne.
There will be a private family gathering due to Covid-19 restrictions. A Celebration of Life for Anne will be held at a future date.
Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
