LILLIAN BERNICE (BUNNY) FAIRLIE
Lillian was born on November 21, 1928, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Katherine Borra. Her family travelled to several regions of Western Canada during her childhood and eventually settled in Winnipeg, where she later worked for the Manitoba Telephone System and met her husband Edgar.
Lillian was a devoted wife and caring mother to her sons Bryn and Daryl, in later years she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, her husband Edgar, her brother Theodore, and sisters Florence (Duncan) and Georgina (Philip).
Left to cherish Lillian's memory are her loving family, including sons, Bryn (Maria) and Daryl, grandchildren Aileen (Patrick), Cathleen (Ian), Eric and Ian, thirteen great-grandchildren, nephew Dennis, many extended family members, good friends, and best friend Isabelle.
A Celebration of Lillian's life will be held at a future date.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

MY heartfelt condolences to the family I first met your Mom at Marvel Beauty school where I was studying to become a hairstylist. Lilian graciously agreed to become my model and we formed a mom/ daughter friendship Even after I graduated we stayed in touch by sending a Christmas greeting each year. I will truly miss that.
