DONALD ROBINSON
Predeceased by his mother Beryl, his father Lewis Gordon, and his wife Kathy.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Melissa Corbett) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, David (Shauna Jessiman) of Calgary and Gillian (Brant Harvey) of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, Eric of Nova Scotia, Jacob and Grace of Calgary, and Claire and Emily of Winnipeg; his sister Lori (Jim Denbow) of Souris; his sisters-in-law, Jamie (Cliff Davison) of Calgary and Shirley (Ken Hargreaves) of Courtenay, British Columbia, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Don grew up on a farm in the Whitewater District south of Hartney, Manitoba. He graduated from Brandon University before moving to Winnipeg, to start his family and earn his CMA designation. Don was kind and giving. He enjoyed visits back to the farm, admired the "nice looking" fields of wheat and flax ready for harvest, and was an avid watcher of trains running along Wilkes. Don will forever be remembered for the love and support he gave his family.
Memorial donations may be made in Don's name to the Holy Family Home, the Grace Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choosing.
Plans for a private memorial will be made at a later date.

Sending our love & sympathy to all of you! The Robinson family have a very special place in my heart! I have many fond childhood memories of time spent with the family! Though we didn’t connect often in later years, it was always nice to hear from Lori about your family! We were the people with the blue silos on the north Perimeter! Remember your Mom saying that your Dad would often think of us as you went by on your way to the cottage! Your love & care for your Dad over these last years has been outstanding! May you find peace & comfort in the special memories that you each hold close to your heart! Howard & Karen Roehle - Posted by: Howard & Karen Roehle (Friend) on: Dec 22, 2020

My deepest condolences to all of you - Mike David and Jillian and your families. We were so saddened to hear of the loss of your dad. We used to see him out along Grant Avenue. We enjoyed the visit with him when he came for dinner a year or so after Kathy passed away. He was a kind and gentle person. Cherish your memories! - Posted by: Joy MacKenzie (Friend) on: Dec 22, 2020
