MAY WILLIS
May Willis was a wonderful woman and always a constant support for all of her family.
She was really strong until the end and she will not only be missed by us but by the people her love and kindness touched throughout her life. As her family, we know more than anyone how much love she had for those she knew. May was an avid animal lover and donated for years to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Her compassion for animals was so huge she would always say she would have loved to have moved back out to the country and filled her home with rescued dogs and cats.
We love you Mum and we are so grateful you're at peace now and for the time we had with you. You will be so greatly missed but we know on some sweet day we will see you on the other side.
May was predeceased by her mother and father, Margaret and Albert Barrow, and by her four siblings. She is survived and missed deeply by her husband, Melvyn "Mel" Willis, and her four children - her two sons, Timothy "Tim", Andrew "Andy" and wife Tina, and her two daughters Claire and Amanda and husband Andrew. Her seven grandchildren - Samantha, James, Robert "Keelan," Ian, Eric, Alex and Ashley, and her seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place, and no service will be held at this time.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
Mom, we'll always remember your smile.
