LEO ISABEY
Leo will be forever missed and remembered by his wife Yvette of 52 years; daughter Marie (Dave); son Richard (Lisa); and grandkids Landen and Karissa. Also mourning his passing are siblings, Marie, Jeanne, Joe, Madeleine and Rose (Cliff); sister-in-law Anna; and brothers-in-law, Gilbert and Leo. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends, as well as his "adopted" kids, Adam and Rob, who were like sons to him.
Leo was predeceased by his parents, Diana and Paul; and family Ronnie and Chuck, Paul and Paul Jr., George, Claire and Don.
After starting his working life with his Dad's stucco contracting company, Leo's career was in farm equipment manufacturing, with Allied/Farm King/Buhler Industries until retirement in 2010. Leo continued an active lifestyle, meeting family or friends for dinner, coffee, a Corydon Avenue concert, a Fall Supper, a weekend at the cottage, to watch a Jets game, or even better, a game or event featuring his grandkids.
He travelled extensively, flying, driving or cruising to Alaska, Hawaii, Panama Canal, New Orleans, San Francisco and other cool locations. While he enjoyed travel, he loved his family more, and was especially proud of his kids and grandkids.
At Leo's request, pallbearers are Antonie, Kevin, Mark, Jeff and Chris.
Rest in Peace.
