LILLIAN LOUISE POROSKY
(nee KREUTZER)
Mom was predeceased by her husband Alex and her parents, William and Caroline Kreutzer.
Mourning Lillian's passing are her daughter Pat and husband Murray (Tim, Jackie and families), her son Ken and wife Patti, her beloved grandchildren, Chad (Mimi), Toronto, Scott (Alessandra), Brazil, Michael, Winnipeg, and her pride and joy: great-grandson Thiago, Brazil. She will also be missed dearly by her three sisters; Ruby, Elaine, Deanna (Dave) and her entire extended family; Karen (Rick), Paula, Ryan (Ceara), Kelly (Dan, Levi).
Mom was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her grandchildren have many fond memories that they will cherish forever.
Mom and Dad spent the majority of their years living and raising their family in Plumas, MB. She belonged to the Lions Club, UCW, and Rebekahs, and was also involved in the local community, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a funny joke.
Watching baseball and curling were favourite pastimes. She also always enjoyed her trips to the casino and playing cards with family and friends.
In 2000, Mom and Dad moved to Gimli where they resided at the Waterfront Centre and were members of the New Horizon 55+ Activity Centre. Mom made many a perogie there, played bingo several times a week and could always be found at the Gimli Legion on Friday and Saturday evenings for the meat draws. A special thank you to Deanna and Dave for all the help they provided to Mom and Dad while living in Gimli.
In 2017 Mom moved to River Ridge 1, a place she called home and where she really enjoyed living. We will always be grateful for the wonderful care and support they provided.
Due to Covid restrictions there will be no funeral service, however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
Mom, you are out of sight, but you will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for leaving us with a lifetime of wonderful memories and for your never-ending love!
