Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dorothy and Family~ I am so sorry to learn of your husband/s/father's passing. I was so hopeful when he made his initial recovery and he looked so well last I saw him. I will always remember him for his friendly waves as I drove past, quick nods while he mowed the lawn and joyous chatter whenever we had the opportunity to talk. He was an optimistic who appeared to spread joy wherever he went. Besides the memories, I am glad I have another memento~ a carving I purchased from him at your garage sale this summer. May he rest in peace and you find comfort in the difficult days ahead! God Bless! - Posted by: Marie & Kam (Barlow neighbours) on: Jan 07, 2021

  • Dorothy and Family, Our Deepest condolences to you and your family. Gary was such a great person. He always had a cheery greeting for everyone and ready to offer a helping hand. While on the housing board at Riverside Lions Estates he offered his knowledge and expertise in many areas which was always appreciated. There was always a chuckle or two when Gary was around. Our paths actually crossed many years ago in Mazatlan, at the hotel we were staying at there was a car with Manitoba plates in the parking lot. I wondered who would do that? In one of our casual conversations a few years later we got to talking about Mazatlan. I told him the story, he said that was me! I remembered them, their room was across from the elevator. Memories do become treasures. Rest In Peace Gary. Pat and Sal,Carvelli - Posted by: Pat Carvelli (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2021
