Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
LUCIEN (LOU) CORMIER
1928 - 2020
Cherishing his memory are the love of his life for 67 years Cecile, son Julien (Cindy, Christien, Charlotte, Emelia, Sebastien), son Marc (Margaret, Faith, Greg), daughter Carole (Marcel, Andre, Airyn), sister Agathe Rochon, brother-in-law and wife Phil and Jeanette Lagace, many nieces and nephews, friends, and the gang at Residence Despins.
From his humble beginnings in a family of 13 children in LaSalle, MB, Lou was a kind, loving, generous husband, father, great/grandfather with a very optimistic attitude. He had many interests, starting with his 40 year career and passion in aviation mechanics, 60 years of service with the Knights of Columbus, hunting, fishing, travelling, camping, gardening, jigsaw and word puzzles, to name just a few. We will treasure our beautiful memories of him forever.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers for Lucien and our family. In lieu of flowers, please help feed those in need.
"Well Lou, you're back to 100%, but don't worry, you'll get better!"

Our condolences to the family. Lou and I saw each other every day when we worked in the aviation business in the 80's. Chief Inspector Lou was always 100% even on days when aircraft weren't being cooperative. We travelled a few times to California to inspect aircraft and he was always a joy to travel and work with. He will be remembered. - Posted by: Ken Gregg (Friend, co-worker, distant relative) on: Jan 09, 2021
