Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • We were saddened to read of the passing of a friend. Myrna and Sid were our neighbours on Peony Ave. We soon became good friends. Myrna was a great neighbour to my Mother when she was left alone. We kept in touch for many years and it was always a pleasure to discuss the past and present with a knowing friend. Although we lost contact in the last few years, we think of her often and will miss the friendship. May God give you strength to cope at this time, but try to think - like us - of the happy memories. - Posted by: John and Bonnie Warszycki (Long time family friend) on: Jan 26, 2021

  • Myrna was so sweet and kind. So sorry for your loss. ❤️ - Posted by: Cherie, Derk, Angie and family (Cousin) on: Jan 26, 2021

  • Wesley; Jackie & family ... Dawn; Rick & family; We were so saddened to hear of Myrna's passing. Myrna was like a sister to me - we have been pals since we were kids. Myrna was so talented- if it was baking, knitting or Girl Guides - she excelled. You have lost a Beautiful Mother & we have lost a lovely cousin. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Love Sylvia, Thora, Carol & family. - Posted by: Sylvia Sigurdson (Cousin) on: Jan 14, 2021

  • Wesley,Dawn & your families. It sadness me dearly....Miss her I will. Mrs Frost was like another mother to me. Being neighbors to your family for all of my childhood was a blessing:) I learned many things from Mrs Frost. Baking cookies,, (especially her shortbread cookies,) became a Brownie/Girl guide, skating, knitting, having fun and a whole lot more. Mr & Mrs Frost had given me my first pair of skates. A trip to the Assiniboine Park duck pond for an afternoon or evening of skating/playing tag on the ice was a very exciting outing for me! The Frost family was a VERY HUGE part of my growing up. I could go on & on. Memories of Myrna will always b close to my ❤️. My sincere condolences to you all.😞 - Posted by: Diane Frykas MacMillan (Family friend) on: Jan 08, 2021

  • Please accept our Sympathy & Love on the passing of Myrna. Jim worked with Sid back in the day at Unisource & as it turned out they lived in the same block as we did after they sold their home in Garden City. Good people in so many ways & now back together again.. God Bless. Sincerely, Jim & Carol - Posted by: Jim Baxted (Friend & Co-worker) on: Jan 07, 2021
