ALEXANDER LAVACK
June 4, 1939 – January 4, 2021

After a painful short time with terminal cancer, Alex passed away peacefully at 6:30 a.m. January 4, 2021.
He is survived by wife Faye who has been there for Alex since day one showing love, care and friendship all the way, daughters, Anne (George), Deborah (Dennis), Sandra (Jeff) and son Michael (Nora); four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Polly (Richard), Aileen (Bob), Joanne and brother Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would also wish to thank Dr. Patrick Fredette for approximately 25 years of friendship and exceptional care. Thanks also to the excellent care at Riverview Health Centre.
In accordance with Alex's wishes, there will be no service of any kind.

  • Sincere sympathies to all Alex's family. I remember Alex's great sense of humor and mischievous ways. When I was young, I remember my cousin Alex and my parents, and other aunts & uncles playing many a card game at our house, and there was always so much laughter. I remember those times fondly.   • Heartfelt condolences to Faye and family. Dale and I met Alex through the Norwood Legion and he always made us smile. Especially when he was voluntold by Faye when helping out at the Legion and he was standing behind her. His facial expressions were priceless.
