GLENN SCARSBROOK
He is survived by his siblings, Jim (Darlene), Maureen, Kerry (Deb), Brian (Darka) and special friend Paula.
He was predeceased by his parents, James in 1996 and Christina in 1999.
He will be greatly missed by nephews, Kyle Elliott, Chad Scarsbrook and nieces, Shanley Jardine, Kelley Newstead and Jaime-Lyn Hugh, as well as many cousins.
Glenn was a gentle spirit growing up in East Kildonan and attending Miles MacDonell Collegiate. He enjoyed walking, coin collecting and spending time at the family cottage at Lakeshore Heights, as well as working out on his rowing machine and lifting weights. His coin collection was unequalled, accumulated over much of his lifetime. Cats were his favourite pet and he had a number of them over the years, always named Bizzy.
An indomitable spirit and heroism were huge factors in the way he dealt with his ongoing medical issue, which affected his daily life, but without complaint.
The Montreal Expos, Jets and Bombers were his favourite teams and he enjoyed watching them whenever he could.
He was a resident of Tache Centre for several years, where he made many friends and received excellent care, especially on 2A.
Cremation has occurred and a private viewing has taken place. Because of current restrictions, a celebration of Glenn's life will be held at a later time. Glen Eden is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
We love you and miss you Glenn
and will be forever in our hearts.

Jim (Jigs), Maureen, Brian, Kerry and families, we are so very sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing. Being your neighbour on Chelsea I always remember seeing Glenn walking down the street. Quiet and shy but such a special fella. I am so sorry for your loss. Glenn and your Mom and Dad were very kind people. I use to love to go over to your parents cottage as your Mom was so cool, she always made me feel so special, your Dad was so smart and kind and I think he could fix anything. Glenn was always with them and I use to see him when I went over to your cottage, as well as all the times we all spent together with my Mom and Dad and June and Dewar. It was a special times all those years at Lakeshore Heights, made even more special by wonderful neighbors such as Glenn and your Mom and Dad. Hard to believe it all passed so quickly.
