EMMA FASKERTI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Emma Faskerti on Monday, January 4, 2021, surrounded by her children at her side, at Vita Hospital.
She was born March 5, 1934, in Hungary to János and Agnes Kovacs. She immigrated to Canada in 1957.
Emma was predeceased by Steve, her husband of 52 years in 2007.
She is survived by her loving children: Steve (Grace), Bill (Edie), Emma (James) and Leslie (Michelle); nine grandchildren: Jamie (Chrystal Rae), Edward, Christine (Donald), Tracy (Clayton), Lindsay (Mark), Brent (Priscilla), Mark (Kate), Breanna (Matt) and Stephanie; 15 great-grandchildren: Sébastien, Aiden, Kari, Kylie, Alivia, Witney, Silas, Gavin, Jayce, Logan, Easton, Rinoa, Oaklyn, Asher, and Piper. She is also survived by her siblings, Dezsö, Karoly, Margaret and Ilona in Hungary as well as nieces and nephews.
Mom's greatest joy was her family, she loved her flowers, going to Bingo and knitting.
