Mom was born to Paul and Valentine Morin of Ste. Genevieve, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Gilbert in 1991, two sons, Laurent and Joseph, daughter Rolande, grandson Corie, sister Yvette, and brother Desiré.

Mémère will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Shelley (Jeff), Shannon (Sam), Glenn and Sherrie (Daryl), David (Ainsley), Paul (Rachelle), Lisa (Derek), Matt (Amanda), Josh, Cameron (Chantal), Madelaine (Ryan), William, Korin (Sean), Kerri (Marc), Tammie, Nathan (Raynita), Morgan, Ashton, Sirus, Kristi, Ethan and Dominic; great-grandchildren, Brad, Brandon (Meghan), Madison (Brent), Ashlee (Joe), Brayden, Luke, Megan, Rylan, Dreyden, Brenner, Emily, Alexander, Presleigh, Weston, Connor, Caeden, Julian, Kaelynn, Sydney, Cora, Raya, Benjamin, Lilly, Quillan, Owen, Liam, Brock and Riley; great-great-grandchildren, Caleb and Isabella, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mom entered the workforce in Winnipeg at an early age and moved back home after she met and married Dad. Together they raised the family in Richer, Manitoba where Mom assisted Dad with his trucking business. After raising the family Mom worked 27 years for the Province of Manitoba as a foster home care provider where she worked tirelessly and with compassion to provide a good and loving home for women with disabilities.
After retiring Mom's favourite pastime became playing bingo. She also loved playing TEN'S, an old French card game at which she was a real master. Like a pro she always surprised us at the end of the game with a winning card. Mom's other passion in life was gardening and she was so proud of her fresh vegetables. Mom's strong faith in her religion was a strength that carried her through life in good and bad times. Mom loved us unconditionally and forgave our weaknesses. Mom leaves behind her legacy of kindness and compassion that we will always cherish.
Mom, we miss you so much and will miss
you everyday! Rest in peace Mom our beautiful angel in Heaven!!!
