Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I met your Dad several years go through Grace Bell. We entertained for a few years at personal care homes and dances at Hobbs Manor. Your Mom and I sometimes did a duet but she was the real singer! We had such fun times then. Your Dad was an accomplished musician and his talents were appreciated. I admired your parents and I send my deepest sympathy to Frank's family and I know that your many treasured memories will be a source of comfort for all of you. May God's compassionate arms surround you and bring peace while easing the pain of your loss. With love & understanding, Joy - Posted by: Joyce Wiltsey (friend) on: Feb 08, 2021

  • Such a great friend to my parents for so long! He will be missed. Linda & Family - Posted by: Linda Hargest (Family Friend) on: Feb 02, 2021

  • To Bob, Karen, Grant and Families, How saddened we are to hear of Frank's passing. Mom and Dad would have been totally devastated to know, if they were still with us, as well. He will be with your Mother, now, and hopefully together with them all, again, having a great time, playing music. He, and your Mother were such close friends of our Family, it's hard to think of them both being gone. May your fond memories help you through this difficult time, once again. Our heartfelt sympathies are with you, all. - Posted by: Jay and Christy Eldred (Close Family Friend) on: Jan 30, 2021

  • So sorry, Bob, Karen and Grant, to hear of your Dad's death. I saw him in Fairview some time ago while visiting friends on the 4th floor. He recognized me to be "an O'Rourke from Reston". He was always known such a fine gentleman. Although I was never in his classroom, I did babysit you three a few times. I believe my sister Joann Sauve, presently living in Reston, was a student of your Dad's. She was a teacher in Reston for over 30 years. If you would like to contact me, please call 204-729-9967 or email cho_oliver@hotmail.com or write me at 2538 Richmond Avenue Brandon, Manitoba R7B 0T6 Again, my sincere condolence! I would love to hear about your lives! Our Reston connection was a long time ago. I'd like to share my life events with you too. Take care! Stay safe as we endure "unprecedented" times. Sincerely, Connie Oliver - Posted by: Connie Oliver. (nee O'Rourke) (Former Restonite) on: Jan 30, 2021
