HAZEL JEAN RUNCHEY
(nee THOMPSON)
August 2, 1923 - January 26, 2021
Hazel was predeceased by her husband Clifford Runchey, daughter Sharon Panting (Runchey), son-in-law John Panting, granddaughter Cheryl Malek (Panting) and grandson Dan Runchey.
She leaves to mourn her sons, Allan (Carol) and Douglas (Erin), daughter Mavis Metcalf, and several grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.
Hazel was born in Unity, Saskatchewan and spent her early years in Adanac, Saskatchewan before moving to Lavinia, Manitoba and then to Winnipeg. She worked at the Children's Hospital in the Outpatient Department and volunteered at the Manitoba Genealogy Society for many years.
A private family burial is planned.

Hazel was a lovely volunteer with our Society. She is missed. Someone who knew her well kindly made a donation to the Manitoba Genealogical Society in memory of Hazel.
