1942 - 2021

With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of our mom and grandma, Janice Omichinski, aged 78 years, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Beausejour Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Martin of 42 years in 2003; brother Gordon; her parents, Michael and Nellie; in-laws, Edward and Rose E. Omichinski; and her companion Bill Paseluko.
She is survived by her three sons, Wes (Cindy), Wyatt, Ward (Brenda); daughter-in-law Karen; grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica), Hilary (Simon), Jordan (Jason) and Colin; and great-granddaughter Zoe.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., with private interment to follow in Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Sandhill Cemetery. Those wishing to attend may do so by parking in the Sobering Funeral Chapel parking lot and tuning their radio to 98.1 FM and following COVID-19 restrictions by remaining in their vehicle. A Celebration of Life will be planned when restrictions are lifted.
If friends and family so desire, donations may be made in Janice's memory to Beausejour Hospital TV Fund, Box 1614, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
