Peacefully, with his family by his side, our loving dad, Rudy Mattis, passed away February 11, 2021.
Rudy was born September 11, 1942 to Katharina and John Mattis in the village of Steinfeld, Ukraine, USSR. The family immigrated to Canada when Rudy was five years old.
Dad was predeceased by his parents, John and Katharina Mattis, brother John Mattis and sister-in-law Maria Mattis. He is survived by the mother of his children, Judith Mattis, Elizabeth Mattis (Stu), Joey (Jenn), grandchildren, Cohle and Charlotte, sister Maggie (Ken), brother Fred and sister-in-law Janet Mattis.
