In keeping with Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A burial and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Many thanks for the years you gave us,
And for all the times we shared,
We only pray that when you left us,
You knew how much we cared.
In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
You suffered much in silence,
You fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage,
Your spirit did not bend,
But still you kept on fighting,
Until the very end.
God saw you getting tired,
So He put his arms around you,
And whispered, "Come to me".
So when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.
You didn't deserve
What you went through
So He took you home to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful,
For He only takes the best.

Rest In Peace nana. You deserved a better life but I know that you are at peace now. Me, my mom and Ken, and the girls will always think about you and hold you close to our hearts. You were so important to us. You cared so much for my mom and me and the girls, I will remember that forever. You are so beautiful and so kind. I will always remember sleeping at your house and all our good memories.
