Uncle Joe , Always had a welcoming smile and warm hospitality. He and my husband Lloyd where kindred spirits with fishing and hunting deep within their core .We loved and respected him for his organic view of feeding the family just as we did and still do .Your children are a credit to a caring life . You will always remain in our memories .. Gail & Lloyd Leknes - Posted by: Gail Leknes (Nice) on: Feb 28, 2021

Joe has always been in my life, I have know him for 51 years. He was at my wedding, many different parties over those years, some hunting. I first met him at Western Glove, he and my father-in law Ken ran the cutting floor there. I worked with him there for a short time, Joe was always a Teacher in life. Our family and Joe and Pat have always kept in contact by phone or in person.. I will miss his calls when my sons and I come back from the cabin in Virgin Land. He or I would always call each other on our return. I am going to miss those (LONG) calls...SEE YOU DOWN THE ROAD>>ALWAYS ED GOTTWALD>> - Posted by: Ed gottwald (friend) on: Feb 28, 2021
