MARLENE ADELINE MURRAY
1937 - 2021
She was born in Moncton, New Brunswick to William and Dorothy Mac Arthur. They resided in Shediac, New Brunswick until she met Ian Murray, who she married in 1957.
Marlene and Ian raised four children, Leslie Gordon, Cynthia Lee, John Cameron and William Ian. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1975 where they settled. Marlene worked for years and retired from the West Park Manor Nursing Home as a Health Care Aide.
Marlene loved spending time with family and especially going out for dinner. Her other favourite things were bingo and knitting.
Marlene leaves to mourn, son Les (Cindy) with Vanessa; daughter Cynthia (Mike) with Sarah, Christopher and Jessica; son John (Shauna) with Carly and Sean; son Bill (Jackie) with Clarissa and Keena; along with six great-grandchildren and brother Nelson Mac Arthur.
Marlene was predeceased by her husband Ian Cameron Murray and her parents.
In accordance with her wishes, Marlene will be cremated and a private family gathering will take place.
