He leaves to mourn his wife of 70 years, Lila, children, Beverly, Loraine and Brian.

Ron and Lila moved into the same apartment block as my mother and her husband (Ruth & Ben McKinlay). They became instant friends, and have remained so through some challenging times. As Ron and Lila moved, Ruth and Ben planned to follow. Unfortunately, Ben passed away, before they could move. Mom, however moved anyway, and Ron and Lila helped her through the grieving, and welcomed her (and her family), into the new place.
