SALLY STEINGART
1935 – 2021

Mom passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021, having reached the age of 85 years, with her three daughters by her side. She is survived by her daughters: Lori Steingart, Rosella (Mike) Fast and Kelli (Alvin) Funk; four grandchildren: Jennifer (David) Tansley, Russell Fast, Timothy (Stephanie) Fast and Kassandra (Stephane) Duval; five great-grandchildren: Evelyn and Braydon Tansley, Trae Fast, Lucious Fast and Jade Duval; two sisters, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by our father, Leonard Steingart in 2002. As well, her parents, Peter R. Funk and Sarah P. Funk, three brothers and two sisters (one in infancy).
A come and go viewing for ten people at a time will be held on March 11, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Please remain in your vehicles until directed inside.
A private service is being planned for the immediate family. The service will be made available for viewing at 5:00 p.m. on March 12, 2021 by visiting

We, the family, would like to thank Dr. Chloe Delaquis and the numerous nurses and health care workers of St. Anne Hospital for their loving and caring treatment of our mother during her stay. A special thank you to George for befriending our mother and adding a little piece of sunshine to her world.
