CECILE (CIS) TOWLER
(née CARRIÈRE)
Born in St. Vital on June 3, 1922
Deceased March 17, 2021 in Winnipeg, MB
Cecile leaves in mourning her daughter Laurie (Robert Spate), son Jamie Towler, grandson Mark Hamilton (Misty Day); great- grandsons, Levi, Brodie and Rome; lifelong companions, Rita Zeuch, Agnes Lerat and Ken Burroughs; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends across Canada.
Special thanks to all who took great care of her at Oakview Place.
It is with sadness but mostly joy and a grateful acceptance our mother has gone to a better place without suffering. Mom can now enjoy the wonders of where our soul goes and experience eternity. We were truly blessed along with our deceased brother David to have been "Chosen" (adopted) by such a wonderful, caring and selfless woman who used her strength, energy and limitless love to care for three children and a husband. Her devotion to her family and all who knew her was such a gift that we experienced and were made better in so many ways from her example of how to live life and treat others. Her memory lives in each of us that had the privilege of knowing her. Our personalities and views on life have in part been shaped by her wonderful example to all of us. To treat others without criticism. To always speak kindly of others. Her generosity, trust and natural goodness go beyond the ordinary. Our Mom was a pious lady of Catholic faith.
We will continue her legacy and follow her example on how to treat others with caring, humility, consideration, devotion and kindness. We say goodbye to our mother knowing her love will live on in us forever.
Mother may your soul enjoy peace and
happiness for eternity. You will be missed.
We love you,
Jamie and Laurie
