So sorry to learn of Maxine’s passing. I always enjoyed visits with her at my parents (her Uncle Walter’s) or at family events. She will be missed. - Posted by: Marilyn McLaren (Cousin) on: Apr 14, 2021

My sister Rhea just happened to find out the news about Mrs Warenko. My mother and Mrs Warenko were best friends since forever. My most sincere condolences from myself and the entire Gladu family. - Posted by: Ron Gladu (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2021

When Maxine phoned me March 20th, her voice sounded strong so I thought I’d get to talk to her one more time. I will miss the phone calls & would try to fit in a visits when I’d be back in Winnipeg on business or visit family. We first met at Western Smallware where Maxine worked for so many years & found out we were both from south central MB & became fast friends. We enjoyed going out for lunch, supper or even just for coffee. We would especially go out for lunch when it was our birthdays. Maxine was very proud of her family & spoke of them often, her sons, grandchildren & of their many visits. She will be greatly missed by them & her many friends. I was privileged to attend her 80th birthday celebration at the Senior Centre next door to her home. RIP my dear friend. - Posted by: Carol Stairs (Close friend) on: Apr 10, 2021
