MARIE CAPRI
Marie was born in Meleb, MB on February 23, 1926. She is survived by her brother Alex Panteluk, sisters, Betty Hearfield, Jean Keryluk, and Angie Jerris; also sister-in-law Jean Panteluk (Walter Biluke), and brothers-in-law, Elmer Keryluk and Paul Blashko; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marie was predeceased by her husband Joe in 2002, her parents, Mike and Tekla Panteluk, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose and Steve Burack, John and Lil Panteluk, Kay and Fred Warcimaga, sister Helen Blashko, brothers-in-law, Harold Hearfield and Richard Jerris, sisters-in-law, Alice Panteluk and Cecile Panteluk; also brother and sister-in-law Tony and Sheila Panteluk, and brother Bill Panteluk.
Marie grew up on the family farm at Meleb with one big happy family. In her teen years she moved to Winnipeg and worked at many jobs, as well as a sales clerk at the Hudson's Bay Store on Portage Avenue. After her marriage she started her own business, Dynasty Plants. She was a great horticulturist and supplied plants and flowers to businesses in the City of Winnipeg.
She was an independent and friendly person, much admired by her younger six sisters and also her four brothers. We will all miss our many family gatherings, but we will never forget our upbringing.
The family would like to thank the wonderful, dedicated staff at the Betel Home in Gimli. Thank you for the sincere care you offered our dear Marie.
As to her request, cremation will take place and due to COVID restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Her remains will rest with her husband at the Serenity Niche at Glen Eden Cemetery.
There is a link death cannot sever.
