MARGERY JOAN PHILLIPS
December 12, 1922 - April 9, 2021
She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, of 60 years. Left to cherish her memory are her son Craig (Lois), and their children, Kim (Brad), and Jacalyn (Ken). Joan is predeceased by her daughter Linda and shared an extra special place in the hearts of her granddaughters, Kim (Dave), Karole, and Katherine (Derek). She will also be fondly remembered by her eight great-grandchildren.
Joan was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. Joan and Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, travelling, as well as going on car ride day trips to the beach or drives along the country side. She will be remembered for her fashion, contagious laugh, delicious family dinners, and enjoying a cup of tea with her laughter. She was an Honoured Royal Lady with Canadian Royal Purple, showing her kind and generous heart.
Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home for their continual devotion and caring for Joan.
Due to covid a private funeral will be held.

You girls will now have another angel looking after you. She was a special lady, so kind. I remember when I was going to Miles Mac with your Mom and we would skip school, she never got mad just gave us the look and we never skipped again. Hugs to all of you, I have missed talking to her in the last few years but enjoyed our annual calls.
