CLAIRE SORIN
1967 - 2021
Claire leaves to mourn her three daughters, Emilie, Natalie, Julie and her partner Dave St-Jacques. She also leaves behind her brothers and her sister: Paul (Rosemary), Jacques (Darlene), Marc, Louis (Linda), Jean (Nicole), Luc, Rémi, Lucille (Hervé), Pierre (Sheri), and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents, Emile and Rose-Marie.
Claire was born on September 20, 1967, and spent her childhood on the family farm in Ste. Agathe where part of her heart will always be. She attended school in Ste. Agathe and in St. Jean-Baptiste and then went on to graduate from the University of Winnipeg which led to a professional career with BSI Insurance.
Claire devoted her time to her daughters. She travelled the province and beyond for their ringette. She was always ready to volunteer in the community whether it be at school, church or community events. If anyone ever needed advice regarding animals, she was only a phone call away.
Claire was loved by all who knew her. She was generous, kind, and a devoted mother. She leapt into life with her daughters and extended family. She loved life, loved nature, and loved seizing every moment of the day. Claire lived life with love, humour and tenderness.
We will never forget you Claire but
what we know for sure is that heaven is a
little brighter now because you are there.

I was so sad to hear the news of her passing. I only have the best memories of Claire as an actively involved and fun loving person with a big heart. She was never shy about diving right in at any new challenge. I admired her resolve to do the very best she could in any project and in any team, often times in a leading role. She was always strong. We had some fun laughs and good times as friends in our younger days...I will always recall her smiling face with that full mouth of perfect teeth. My sincere condolences to her partner and children and the rest of her family and loved ones. She was one of the good ones.
