ROXANE M. L. NAUMKO
(nee FALK)
May 15, 1969 - April 22, 2021

Sadly on April 22, 2021, Roxane succumbed to complications from a debilitating chronic disease, with family at her side.
She is survived by her husband Ken, of 20 plus years; mother and father Jim and Anne Falk; brother Rod (Tracy); niece Meagan (Lambert, Ethan, Evan, Emily); nephew Wes (Diana); and brother-in-law Dave.
Roxane was born in Dauphin, MB and cherished her country life on the farm where she enjoyed her pony and various other pets. As a young teenager, her family came to Winnipeg. Roxane graduated from Westwood Collegiate in the late 1980s. Roxane spent 26 years in the hospitality industry and 10 plus years working lovingly at K. Bosch Greenhouses. Roxane's zest for life was contagious, expressing kindness, loyalty, and respect for all. It was real. She had the biggest, loving heart. Roxane enjoyed gardening (especially her flowers), a passion she shared with her mother. She loved walking our late puppy Fenway, British drama on TV, courtroom reality programs and ironically medical shows. Sitting beside the fire pit with BBQ on its way on a pleasant summer's night was tranquillity for her. The sight of dragonflies and hummingbirds always thrilled her. Roxane always gave a lending hand and put others before herself, testament to her unwavering faith. Not only a loving wife, Roxane was tough and a fighter throughout her battle.
Thanks go out to Ruth (Bosch family), Tiffany, Donna, Heather W., Aunt Linda and cousin Holly for their caring and friendship. Also thanks to Dr. T. Racette, all her "Peeps" from dog walking, Vlasic pickles and juice, and the colour blue. Social anxiety and stigma comes in many forms, "But Remember," as Roxane would describe, "Be kind and respectful....it's simple, that's how we all get along!"

"You are now in the Kingdom of Heaven pain free and where peace exists. You fought valiantly and honourably through life's trials and tribulations. I love you forever and will never feel that intensity of love again. You were... and always will be the "The Best." R.I.P. sweetheart from your loving husband, Ken."

By Roxane's request, she has been cremated with no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the No Kill Winnipeg Animal Rescue and Shelter at Portage Avenue West.
