ANNE SOKOLOWSKI
She was born July 2, 1922 in the village of Kozaki, Poland.
Respectful and sincerest thanks to Anne's family doctor, Dr. J. Fulmore, all the doctors, nurses, health care assistants and staff for all their comfort, care and compassion.
Anne was a loving wife to Alex (married May 6, 1950), veteran of the Second World War (died November 11, 2009) and a devoted and caring mother to her daughter Cathi. She shall forever be remembered by her cherished daughter Cathi (Dr. Kerr Graham).
Sincere thanks to paramedics and staff at Betel Home Foundation. Respectful and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Souffei, all nurses including Linda P., Tracy, Lee, and health care assistants, Betty, Cheryl, Debbie P., Kris and Corinne. In prior years sincere heartfelt thanks to caring doctors, nurses and staff at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital for Anne's healthcare.
Anne was a caregiver to many family members and friends. My "sunshine girl" greeted everyone with a warm smile and twinkle in her lovely eyes. She enjoyed making new friends and recalling stories about sewing in factories and working at the Fort Garry Hotel. She had a passion for creative needle work and sewing. She loved the farm life, gardening and her pets.
The Lord is my rock,
His way is perfect,
forever loved and remembered.
Due to the current health conditions a private graveside service will be held at the Parkside Cemetery, Meleb, MB, with Fr. Harry Chuckry officiating.
Vichnaya Pam'Yat
