I worked with Ed at the U of M and considered him my friend. I had not been in contact with him for awhile. I dropped by the house and thought he had moved, I went home and found that he had passed. It's very sad our world is slowly disappearing - Posted by: Manfred Kapitole (Work Friend) on: Aug 15, 2021

I enjoyed working with Ed in the Engineering Department. Ed was the Civil Chief Tech and I was a Technician in Mechanical. We used to go on canoe trips together and would always see each other at the Engineering Christmas Party. We missed last year’s because of Covid, but he will always remain in our hearts. Our sincere condolences go out to all his family and friends. His kindness and friendliness will be missed. Ken and Sheila Tarte - Posted by: Ken Tarte (Friend and co worker) on: May 05, 2021

Thank you Ed for the time we spent playing chess on-line. You were a fierce adversary and I enjoyed all of our 99 games. You became part of my daily routine and I will miss that! - Posted by: Gail Najda (Friend) on: May 02, 2021
