PATRICIA LORINCZ-HOLMERSON
Pat is lovingly remembered by her son Noah, brothers, Ben and Ralph, sisters, Marge and Kathy, and her many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her husband Greg, loving parents, David and Mary, brother Joseph, and sisters, Irene and Helen.
Pat was renowned for her sense of humour, flare for fashion, and love of shoes! Not only was she a talented writer and superb story-teller; Pat's humour and imagination led to her creation and drawing of cartoon characters in odd ball situations. These drawings were often sent to family members as Christmas or birthday greetings! Childhood stories of canine rescue and care, often led to bringing home yet another four legged friend in need... (for her parents to deal with)! But more importantly, a beautiful and caring person.
Pat's work place achievements included secretary to the Premier of Saskatchewan, administrative assistant and finally working in the shoe retail industry. In her retirement years, her church family and friends were a constant part of her life; including her bible-study group which she enjoyed and hosted in turn. Her told and unfinished stories were a continual part of her life and often shared with family.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Oakview Care Home for their years of care and compassion as well as special friends, Anne and Aubrey, who were constant and loyal, especially these last few years.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
Memorial donations may be made in Pat's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.

My sweet aunty! She was so loving and so much fun. A memory that stays with me: she was not so much older than us and she let us play in her room with her paper dolls when she still lived at home at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. She was beautiful, gentle and dear. We loved her visits to “the north” and loved seeing her at family functions. She had a memorable laugh and a remarkable sense of humour. Condolences to my cousin Noah. - Posted by: Karen Robertson (Niece ) on: May 26, 2021
